SAN NICOLAS DE LOS GARZA, Mexico - With its 2018 Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League (SCCL) round of 16 series against Herediano nearing, Tigres is getting a boost with the return of defender Jorge Torres Nilo.

The 30-year-old, who amassed 14 total appearances during UANL's run to the 2015/16 and 2016/17 SCCL finals, has played in just three of six match in the 2018 Liga MX Clausura due to a right leg injury.  He is ready for action in Tuesday's encounter at Lobos BUAP.

"We're just waiting to follow [head coach Ricardo Ferretti's] orders," said Torres Nilo.  "I don't know what plan he has.  I'm available for whatever he tells me.  I'm feeling better each day.  I'm getting into rhythm and trying to do everything with a lot of intensity."

In Puebla, 11th-place Tigres will be looking for its first road win of the season after a draw and two losses, while scoring only a single goal.

"At home, we have fulfilled everything that has been presented to us, but away we've been lacking," Torres Nilo finished.  "Now, we want to do the same as we do at home.  It is going to be an intense match.  They'll play every ball as if it's the last and we'll continue to play our game."
